THE FIRE DISTRICT RECEIVED A GRANT
Exciting news for volunteer fire districts across New York State! East Schodack Fire District #1 would like to extend our sincere thanks to New York State for the generous VFIRE grant awarded to our district today!
This grant will allow us to purchase essential equipment that will replace equipment that is soon to become outdated, helping ensure our firefighters have the tools they need to safely and effectively respond to calls.
We are especially grateful that this funding will allow the district to make these important purchases without placing an additional burden on our taxpayers.
Thank you to New York State and everyone involved in making this grant possible. Your support of our volunteer firefighters and our community is greatly appreciated!
